Eureka Recycling volunteers play a critical role as zero-waste educators at events. With their help, we are able to recycle or compost over 90 percent of what is thrown out at zero-waste events!
Volunteer opportunities at zero-waste events are great for people who enjoy talking with and educating people, are interested in environmental issues, and enjoy hands-on experiences. Activities include:
- Talking to people about zero waste and gathering feedback
- Informing event-goers about what should be composted and recycled—and why
- No trash handling (unless you really want to!)

Unsupported, Insecure Browser
You are using Internet Explorer version 8 or earlier. This browser is no longer supported by the manufacturer, Microsoft, Inc. Not only is this version of browser insecure from malware attacks,
it is also not capable of displaying modern websites accurately or securely.
Fortunately there are several free, secure alternatives including: Google Chrome and FireFox. Both browsers are easy to download and install, and are very secure.
If you are running Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 you can upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer. If you are using Windows XP, there are no further updates and Microsoft has discontinued support for Windows XP and associated software.
Eureka Recycling wants you to enjoy our website with the latest, most secure web browser. You can use this website using Internet Explorer 8 or earlier, but it will not behave in a predictable manner.
